Our client, one of the top three commercial vehicle and trailer manufacturers in the UK, is currently looking for a Web Content Manager, based in Manchester.
Job Responsibilities :
• Reporting to the IT Director you will be responsible for the ongoing management of the company's web presence, including our rentals and spare parts websites.
• Focusing on the design, content management and development of the content of our websites including news articles, images, and blog posts.
• Taking responsibility for our on-line and eBay store activities for sales of spare parts.
• Creating new websites and redesigning existing sites as required, and performing search engine optimization.
• Managing the aspects of the company's Intranet.
• Creating and maintaining the company's social media presence.
• Liaising with external suppliers including our PR company and industry partners to ensure that the company's websites are operating effectively at all times.
You will have:
• Excellent graphic design skills using appropriate software e.g. Photoshop, DTP
• Creative and accurate copy writing skills
• Experience of and ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels with internal and external parties
• Knowledge of using eBay or something similar for selling items over the Internet.
• A basic understanding of web programming and previous experience of SEO. (IT skills desirable but not essential)
Salary is up to £19, 000 per annum.
