In 2013 (after some extensive vet bills) we began looking into alternative products to help prevent the usual ailments found when owning horses.
After well researching the benefits of feeding turmeric to horses, we began the process of introducing it into their daily digestion. The results were messy and time consuming. However the benefits were too good to care about the negatives, even the yellow staining of the hands and clothing.
The next hurdle came during summer turn out, not wanting to have the horses miss their daily turmeric doses we decided to make an easily dispensable treat to keep them covered. Word soon spread on the yard what we were doing, and then everybody wanted in. Word of mouth spread and before long we found ourselves covering the local yards and meeting many others who were already using turmeric in this way.
After seeing so many great results, requests began to come in for further animal treats including dog, sheep and even pigs. Demand became a full time job so that’s how we became Millie’s Munchies as of April 2015. At Millie's Munchies we make our treats by hand, each treat contains Turmeric, Black Pepper and coconut oil.
The treats are vacuum packed Into 3 bags containing 11 treats each. Giving you a total of 33 treats. so if you feed one a day for general health then you will have one month's supply with one pack. Our treats have helped ailments such as sarcoids, melanomas, arthritis, stiffness, Copd and lots more.
