At Armco Asbestos Consultants we are desperately seeking a full time qualified Asbestos Surveyor based in the Manchester area. You will be working directly for Armco Asbestos and will be primarily conducting surveys ( Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Asbestos Surveys) across the Northwest of England, although from time to time you may be required to travel to anywhere in the UK as we conduct surveys nationwide.
A full clean driving license is essential. There is no company car with the role, so you must have your own reliable transport, but you will be paid travel expenses of 35p per mile, and if you do have to work away, we pay for your hotel accommodation and meals if you have to stay overnight.
You must be a fully qualified Asbestos Surveyor, have experience of carrying out asbestos surveys, and hold the following qualifications:-
P402 Buildings Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos
Asbestos Awareness training
Face fit testing
Desireable although not essential - P405 certificate Asbestos in Buildings
All certificates/training must be up to date.
Salary will be dependent upon experience and qualifications.
